When assessing clinicians on asking clinical questions, ask the following questions:
1. Are they asking any clinical questions at all?
2. Are they asking focused questions?
3. Are they actively filling my knowledge gaps and articulating questions in the clinical environment?
4. Do they have the right resources to follow-up on clinical questions?
5. Do they have some sort of practical method for saving clinical questions that come up in the course of treatment for later answering?
